What you are guiding yourself through

TwisterX is an Alpha semi-sandbox tornado game on a map with eight towns, built to run on low-end devices. A thermodynamics system spawns and shapes tornadoes; you read them through two radar products (reflectivity and velocity, both confirmed in the official description), then act: scout in a free civilian car, deploy an interceptor in the funnel's path, scan for income in a DOW or RAXPOL radar truck, or drop a $1,000 probe and let the tornado record its own maximum wind speed. Money buys the roster — Storm Piercer at a reported $50K, DOW 3 at $200K, RAXPOL at $325K, DOW 6 at $500K — and the badges mark the milestones, from the 3.86-million-player welcome badge to the 300MPH Tornado club at over half a million.

That loop — read, decide, act, earn — is why the guides are split by task rather than by level. A player stuck on money needs a different page than a player stuck on frames, and both need different pages than a first-timer. The six guides cover those jobs in the order most players meet them.

Start with stability, then move closer

A useful TwisterX session begins with responsive controls, both radar views, a chosen vehicle role, and a road out. Prices, thresholds, ranges, probe behavior, and town layouts can change during Alpha — the game added a town as recently as 0.15.1 and fixed the DOW 6's 250 MPH bug in the same release — so each guide carries its checked date and the live interface wins whenever it disagrees.
