Quick answer

The game at a glance

TwisterX is an Alpha semi-sandbox tornado simulation by TwisterX Official Community (main developer Fluzerify, Co-Owner Kyoto per the official badge). A thermodynamics system spawns tornadoes across an officially described eight-town world; you read them with two radar products — reflectivity for precipitation and structure, velocity for motion — and act with a mostly-free vehicle roster: civilians for scouting, TIVs and Dominators for deployment, DOW and RAXPOL trucks for paid radar scanning, probes at $1,000 for storm data. The community wiki fills in what the developers document nowhere: six tornado types with wind bands, twelve mapped places, the probe catalog, and the price ladder from $10 (Suba TIV) to $10,000,000 (Lancer 2015).

FAQ

Wiki questions

What is TwisterX?

A semi-sandbox tornado game on Roblox by TwisterX Official Community, mainly developed by Fluzerify. Players chase thermodynamics-driven tornadoes across an eight-town world in mostly free vehicles, reading reflectivity and velocity radar, deploying interceptors, scanning for income in radar trucks, and dropping probes. It is an open Alpha — the description says to expect unfinished features — with over 18.1 million visits.

How many tornado types are there?

The community wiki documents six: stovepipe, cone, wedge, multi-vortex (a wedge sub-type), nocturnal, and satellite — the last removed in update 0.14, which is why its badge shows zero awards. Wind ranges run from about 80 MPH cones to 230+ MPH multi-vortex events.

How many towns does the map have?

The official description says eight; the community wiki's map page names 12 places. The counts likely use different rules for what qualifies as a town, so both appear here with their sources.

Where does the data on this wiki come from?

Official facts (version, description, badges, player counts) come from the Roblox games and badges APIs; community-documented facts (prices, thresholds, tornado types, probe specs, town names) come from the Fandom wiki — every table names its source and checked date, registered on the sources page.
