What 0.15.1 means today

The public title still reads TwisterX [0.15.1] and the official description still promises the same systems that define the game: a semi-sandbox tornado simulation, thermodynamics-driven weather, reflectivity and velocity radar, eight towns, mostly free vehicles, the Lite version for low-end devices, and the Shift+C free cam. The latest update landed October 8, 2026 without a version-name change — the second consecutive no-changelog timestamp bump (September 30, then October 8). In an Alpha that ships towns (0.7, 0.15.1) and reworks (0.14), bumps without new titles are normal, and each one re-opens the questions in the recheck list below.

How we know

Where update facts come from

TwisterX's developers document changes through the game itself rather than a changelog, so this timeline is built from dated evidence instead of memory: the official games API (created and updated timestamps), the official badge API (creation dates that pin features to windows — tix. on August 23, 2026 ties Kimmiry to 0.15.1), and the community wiki's per-version notes (DOW 3 in 0.13.1, RAXPOL in 14.0, the satellite removal in 0.14). Every row names which kind of source backs it.
